Day 1:
Board your overnight transatlantic flight.

Day 2:
Sorrento, Italy. Arrive in Sorrento (the nearest airport is Naples). Check into your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 3:
Sorrento. Two full days at leisure to enjoy Sorrento and the surrounding area. Your Local Host will provide a brief orientation of this popular destination, and is available with suggestions and expert knowledge to help create unforgettable memories. (B)

Day 4:
Sorrento. Two full days at leisure to enjoy Sorrento and the surrounding area. Your Local Host will provide a brief orientation of this popular destination, and is available with suggestions and expert knowledge to help create unforgettable memories. (B)

Day 5:
Sorrento–Rome. Morning transfer to the high-speed Eurostar train (first class); midafternoon arrival at your Rome hotel. (B)

Day 6:
Rome. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation features a visit to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, world famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling paintings and The Last Judgment. Continue on to St. Peter’s Square and the Basilica, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum. (B)

Day 7:
Rome. Full day at leisure to enjoy this splendid city. (B)

Day 8:
Rome–Florence. Morning transfer to the high-speed Eurostar train (first class); afternoon at leisure in Florence. (B)

Day 9:
Florence. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation: visit the Academy of Fine Arts with Michelangelo’s David. See the Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s “Gate of Paradise,” and Signoria Square. (B)

Day 10:
Florence. Full day at leisure. (B)

Day 11:
Florence–Venice. Morning transfer to the high-speed Eurostar train (first class); midafternoon arrival at your Venice hotel. (B)

Day 12:
Venice. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation: see St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, and visit the Doges’ Palace and the evocative Bridge of Sighs. Also watch a glassblowers’ demonstration. Afternoon at leisure. Your Doges’ Palace ticket gives you entrance to the Marciana Library and to the Correr Museum. Ask your Local Host for details. (B)

Day 13:
Venice. Full day at leisure. (B)

Day 14:
Venice. Your homebound flight arrives the same day. (B)
